Hidden Letters

A word is missing one or more syllables: fill in the blanks with the missing letters. The syllable split is always correct, computed by the game itself rather than improvised.

? How to play

A word with one or more hidden syllables (depending on the level) appears, represented by a box for each missing letter. Write the letters in the boxes.

  1. Read the pattern: it tells you how many syllables the word has and which ones are missing.
  2. Fill each box with a letter until you complete the hidden syllables.
  3. If in doubt, ask for a hint (a phrase that describes the word).
  4. In level 3, more than one syllable may be missing at a time, not just one.
  5. The difficulty increases or decreases automatically based on your successes.
