Double Rule

Two boxes, each with its own rule. Once the rule disappears from the screen, you have to keep remembering it from memory.

The stimulus appears in one of the two boxes — answer according to THAT box's rule. At first both rules are visible; after several correct answers in a row they disappear, and they come back if you make a mistake.

? How to play

There are two boxes, one on top and one below, each with its own rule.

  1. At the start, read both rules carefully — one for the top box, one for the bottom box.
  2. On each turn a letter-and-number combination appears inside one of the two boxes.
  3. Answer YES if the stimulus meets THAT box's rule, or NO if it doesn't.
  4. After several correct answers in a row, the rules disappear from the screen — but they stay the same, so you have to remember them.
  5. If you make a mistake, the rules show up again so you can review them before they hide once more.
